Story

Pawtitas Pet Services was founded by a New Mexico native and passionate animal owner originally hailing from Bernalillo, NM. It found its shape in the land of the Organ Mountains and New Mexico State University in 2025, and was created in response to the massive demand for compassionate professionals to care for the community's animals while pet owners are away.

Pawtitas Pet Services is a drop-in style business that collaborates with pet owners to ensure thorough and affordable care at any time of day or night.

Lauren Cruz

Hi, I'm Lauren. I am a Pre-Vet Animal Sciences major, experienced with animals ranging from avians, to dogs of all temperaments, to exotics such as freshwater fish and reptiles. I am committed to excellence in the care and wellbeing of your cherished furry (or scaly, or feathered!) friends.

Everett Hines

Hello, my name is Everett Hines, I am majoring in Wildlife and Fisheries at NMSU and have a career goal of becoming a wildlife biologist. I have always loved animals and am currently blessed to live with and care for my reptiles, fish, and dog.

Annaliegh Johnson

Hi! My name is Annaliegh Johnson. I am currently a student at NMSU. I am double majoring in Finance and International Business. At home I have two dogs, one being a husky and the other a miniature poodle. I have experience taking care of dogs of any size! My main priority is the safety and care of your pet!

Zach Cruz

Hi, I'm Zach! I'm a Chemical and Mechanical Engineering student. Growing up, I was inspired by my sister's meticulous care for our family pets, and have spent my childhood and adolescence helping where I could. I especially enjoy spending time with energetic and eccentric pets, like my own dog, Shluppy. I'm excited for the opportunity to provide the same level of care and attention to your animals!

Due to staff time constraints, we are unable to accommodate client requests after two failed meet and greet attempts.
